Protecting your personal data matters to us. We process it solely on the basis of the law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation and the Austrian Data Protection Act. Below you can read what happens to your data on this website.

Visiting the website

When you visit this website, your IP address and the start and end of the session are recorded. This is technically necessary in order to deliver the pages and constitutes a legitimate interest under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not process this data any further.

The web space is operated by World4You Internet Services GmbH, Wolfgang-Pauli-Straße 2, 4020 Linz, Austria. A data processing agreement is in place with this provider.

Enquiries through the website

Through the enquiry form we collect your name and your email address, and optionally your telephone number, your message and the apartment you are interested in. If you request the brochure, we collect your name and your email address.

We use these details to answer your enquiry and to send you the material you asked for. The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract under Art 6(1)(b) GDPR, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Your details are stored on our web space and also forwarded to home@glace54.at. We keep them for six months, and in the case of continued contact for as long as the business relationship and statutory retention periods require. We pass nothing on to third parties without your consent.

Protection against abusive submissions

To keep the forms from being misused by machines, we limit the number of submissions per sender. For this we remember the IP address a submission comes from for no longer than one hour. The IP address is also stored together with your enquiry so that misuse can be traced. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The map in the location section

The map shows where the house sits in its quarter. The map material is loaded only once you scroll to that section and comes from OpenFreeMap (tiles.openfreemap.org, operated in the European Union). In doing so this service learns your IP address, which is technically required in order to deliver the map tiles to your browser. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the location clearly under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR. The markers, routes and labels on the map are ours and are loaded from our own server.

Cookies and your consent

Without your consent this website sets no cookies. On your first visit we ask whether we may use Google Analytics. We store your answer in your browser's local storage so that we do not ask again on every page. This storage is technically necessary for that purpose and contains only your choice. Through the Cookie settings link in the footer you can change your choice and withdraw a consent at any time.

Google Analytics

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics sets cookies and records how the website is used: for example which pages and sections are viewed, how long a visit lasts, which page you came from, whether a form was sent, as well as device type, browser and approximate region. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. We use the data only to improve the website and our marketing, not for advertising.

The legal basis is your consent under Art 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 165(3) TKG 2021. The data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision. A data processing agreement is in place with Google. The data is deleted after 14 months.

Fonts, images and videos

All fonts, images and videos on this website are held on our own server. No fonts and no other content are loaded from Google or any other provider. Google Analytics is loaded only if you have consented.

No advertising

Apart from Google Analytics with your consent, we use no analytics tools, no advertising pixels and no social network components. We send no newsletter.

Your rights

In respect of the data we hold about you, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please write to home@glace54.at.

If you believe that the processing of your data breaches data protection law or that your rights have otherwise been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at.
